Welcome to the blog of WINST – Women in Science and Technology, a project funded by the Swedish Research Council for Health, Working Life and Welfare (FORTE), 2021-2027. We call it WINST because of its Swedish (‘vinst’) meaning ‘profit’; more women in these areas represent gains to society.
Our project analyses why women start or exit such careers and the role of having children using large quantitative registers from Denmark, Finland and Sweden. In this blog, we will report about the progress in the program, including working papers and we will also post links to job postings that are soon to open.
